What is the Difference between FileZilla Server and FileZilla Pro Enterprise Server?

FileZilla Server and FileZilla Pro Enterprise Server (FZPES) are both programs that allow users to upload and download files. Remote clients can connect to FileZilla Server and FPES to execute command to receive, send and delete files, as well as creating and removing directories.

FileZilla Server and FZPES administrators can create, modify and delete user accounts, manage certificates, setting transfer speeds, banning and throttling out users not matching some criteria.

FileZilla Pro Enterprise Server contains all of the functionality of FileZilla Server standard version, plus it include:

  • Support for SFTP
  • Second Factor Authentication (2FA).
