FileZilla CLI and FileZilla Pro CLI are powerful command-line tools designed for automating file transfers between your computer and remote servers.
FileZilla CLI is the command-line version of FileZilla, supporting FTP, FTPS, and SFTP, allowing you to execute scripts that would otherwise require manual input via the FileZilla graphical interface. It’s ideal for automating transfers, batch processing, and integrating file management into custom workflows.
FileZilla Pro CLI extends these capabilities by adding support for cloud storage services such as Amazon S3, Google Drive, OneDrive and Microsoft Azure., and more. It enables seamless automation of file transfers across both traditional servers and cloud environments, making it an invaluable tool for scheduled tasks and complex automation scenarios.
Both tools are supported by our comprehensive Knowledge Base and detailed command-line examples, making it easy to learn and maximize their potential.
Both FileZilla CLI and FileZilla Pro CLI licenses are subscription-based, meaning it will expire if not renewed. To continue using the software, you’ll need to keep your subscription active. Renewing also ensures your software stays up-to-date and grants you ongoing access to dedicated support from our team.
If you encounter any issues after your subscription expires, feel free to contact us.
FileZilla CLI and FIleZilla Pro CLI subscriptions are governed by a Single User License. This means that each individual using the software requires their own license, even if multiple users share the same device. A separate license must be purchased for each user.

If you can't locate this email, don’t worry—simply send us a message, and we’ll provide you with the necessary details.
If you've already registered the maximum number of copies, you’ll need to deregister a copy from a computer you no longer use or plan to decommission. Additionally, if you’re planning to wipe your operating system before moving your subscription, make sure to deregister your copy first. This will ensure you can reinstall the software after reinstalling the operating system.
While purchasing FileZilla Pro is not mandatory, it can be highly convenient to get the FileZilla Pro + CLI bundle. This allows you to configure all your sites (connections) through FileZilla Pro's user-friendly graphical interface and then seamlessly use those configurations within FileZilla Pro CLI—eliminating the need to manually set them up via the command line.
Alternatively, you can purchase FileZilla CLI, which always comes bundled with FileZilla (the free version). This option enables the same streamlined interoperability, allowing you to set up FTP, FTPS, and SFTP connections in FileZilla's GUI and then use them within FileZilla CLI without additional manual configuration.
