What is the Difference between FileZilla Server and FileZilla Pro Enterprise Server?

FileZilla Server and FileZilla Pro Enterprise Server (FZPES) are both server applications that allow users to upload and download files. Remote clients can connect to either server to execute commands such as sending, receiving, and deleting files, as well as creating and removing directories.

Administrators of both FileZilla Server and FZPES can:

• Create, modify, and delete user accounts
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates
• Set transfer speed limits
• Ban or throttle users that don’t meet specific criteria.

FileZilla Pro Enterprise Server includes all the features of the standard FileZilla Server, plus advanced capabilities designed for professional and enterprise environments, such as:

• Support for SFTP – ensuring secure file transfers over SSH.
• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) – adding an extra layer of security for user logins.
• Active Directory Integration (AD) – simplifying user management and authentication in enterprise networks (currently in beta).
