While FileZilla/FileZilla Pro can usually automatically detect the operating system running on a remote server, on occasion this might need to be configured manually.
To manually set the remote server’s operating system:
To use synchronized browsing when it connects to a specific remote server:
- Open the Site Manager.
- Select the connection to modify.
- Click on the Advanced tab.
- Select the operating system from the Server Type list.
- Click on OK.
