How to Configure Character Set Used for a Connection

FileZilla/FileZilla Pro usually detects the character sets supported by a remote server and modifies file names accordingly. To use a specific character set for a specific connection:

1. Open the Site Manager.
2. Select the connection to modify.
3. Click on the Charset tab.
4. Select the Use custom charset option.

6. Click on OK.
