What to Do If “TLS Certificates Have Expired “?

If you encounter the error message “The TLS certificates of the following protocols have expired,” follow these steps based on the specific certificate mentioned:

  1. For Administration TLS Certificate: If the error refers to the Administration TLS certificate, navigate to Administration › Connection Security tab. Generate a new certificate using the provided options.
  2. For FTP TLS Certificate: If the error pertains to the FTP TLS certificate, go to Protocol Settings › FTP and FTP over TLS (FTPS) › Connection Security tab. Generate a new certificate through the available options.

Note: If you wish to reissue a self-signed certificate, you can delete the current certificate and restart FileZilla Pro Enterprise Server. It will automatically reissue any missing self-signed certificates.

For detailed FTP/FTPS renewal steps, see: Setting Up Connection Security.
For advanced Administration Interface settings, see: How to Configure the Administration Interface Server.
